Electrical Design

Electrical design is an essential element in every project, regardless of size. We offer this service to establish the most appropriate electrical systems for your vessel and to ensure the correct product is chosen for your specific needs.

JSE Marine Electrical will design the placement and installation of each product to make certain they comply with relative standards, surveys and manufacturers warranty.

Survey Documentation and Requirements

Our survey is a comprehensive electrical inspection. JSE Marine Electrical inspect all fitted systems and equipment and report on the electrical integrity and safety of your vessel for its intended use. We also carry out complete electrolysis testing. The survey provides a comprehensive written report with detailed photographs.

In our pre-purchase survey our electrical surveyors are able to review AC & DC electrical system installations and designs. We check for safety related issues, as well as make reference to applicable marine electrical standards such as NSCV and AS/NZS 3000 and classification society rules.
The on board electrical power generation, distribution and grounding/bonding systems, and navigation are also reviewed. Systems are checked for proper installation, voltage, frequency, monitoring, control, and protection.

Installation

Our extensive experience with a vast array of marine applications, from 150ft luxury motor yachts to 45ft Australian Federal Police vessels, allows our team to provide attention to detail while ensuring the best possible quality workmanship and system reliability.

JSE Marine Electrical are primarily involved with both electrical and electronic fit outs of new builds, refits of existing vessels and system upgrades. Maintenance and Repair

JSE Marine electrical has a service and repair unit in Marmong Point, Newcastle (NSW)—servicing the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Port Stephens Areas.

We provide emergency and scheduled maintenance and repair services to a vast array of clients including, private, luxury and commercial vessels.

Maintenance and repair services include emergency response repairs, electrical power generation and protection and distribution maintenance and repair.
